In this episode of the Burnt Out to Lit Up Podcast, Brandy talks about seven energy levels that have a core thought, feeling and emotion that goes with it. These energy levels impact how we show up at work, in our personal lives, in our relationships- everywhere.
THE SEVEN ENERGY LEVELS
The first energy level is victimhood, which is something we can feel where we’re at the mercy of a situation- for example, when you get an expensive bill or a stressful project at work. The second level is conflict, which can refer to external or internal conflict that is associated with anger and defiance.
The third level is responsibility, which involves a great deal of rationalizing. The disadvantage of being in this energy is over-analyzing things. Level four is concern, which is associated with caregiving, compassion, and service. Healthcare professionals can stay stuck in this energy caring for others, which can put them at a disadvantage when it comes at the expense of putting yourself last.
Level five is about opportunity. If you are feeling something is not going your way, being in this energy will allow you to find opportunities for learning and flip the situation to find positive aspects. Level six is visionary, which allows people to tap into that innovation and creativeness. Level seven is where you’re in your zone of genius and in a state of flow.
